Sales Policy
Updated 11/11/2018
I raise rabbits for the daily enjoyment of these wonderful creatures, to provide good things for my family and to promote the many virtues of all things Rabbit - not because I need to sell rabbits. These policies help prevent people from taking advantage of my time and compromising my herd.
If you do not agree with the terms of this sales policy, no sale will be made. I appreciate your understanding.

- Rabbits over 8 weeks old are sold on a first come basis, unless a deposit has been received. No rabbits will be sold or deposits be accepted on any rabbit under 8 weeks of age. I will hold a rabbit 'pending pickup' until they reach 8 weeks, or for a couple days if concrete pickup plans have been made.
- A 50% deposit is required to hold any rabbit for up to 2 weeks. We accept cash, Paypal and credit/debit cards. No hold is final until the deposit has been received. If the buyer fails to pick up the rabbit within 2 weeks or by 3pm on the day of the show, the deposit is forfeit and rabbit will be offered for sale.
- There is no gender, breeding or show success guaranteed. I truly make every effort to represent rabbits accurately, but it is the buyers responsibility research breed standards and to inspect animals at pickup. I recommend that all buyers inspect the rabbit prior to sale or remind me to do an inspection in front of the buyer (sometimes with large litters I get my babies mixed up). I recommend inspecting any rabbit for the following : nail color, teeth, gender, split penis, snot in nose or crusty front paws, eyes, squishy poops stuck to rear and bloated bellies.
- All rabbits are sold healthy when they leave my home. No health guarantee after pick-up. No reimbursement for illness, injury, or death that occurs while in buyer's care. Exception can be made in cases of malocclusion (buck teeth) or hypospadias (split penis), both rare genetic conditions that may develop after the time of sale. Buyer must report said condition and return the rabbit or request a refund before the rabbit reaches 6 months of age. I select against these traits, but they still pop up, especially in dwarf breeds.
- If the buyer cancels the sale, no refund will be made. Failed transportation or no-show are considered canceled sales.
- Buyers are not obligated to purchase on-hold rabbits. The buyer may receive a refund (or exchange if possible) on a rabbit placed on hold if, at the time of pickup, they find the rabbit to be unsatisfactory.
- I will, in the case of first-time rabbit owners (or buyers who do not own any other rabbits), give a refund on a rabbit, if the buyer determines they are allergic to rabbits or they cannot keep the rabbit for some other logistical or personal reason. The rabbit must be returned within the first 10 days.
- I do accept any of my rabbits back, at any time, if the buyer is unable to care for the animal, but no refund will be given after the first 10 days. This policy is solely for the welfare of the rabbits, and not my convenience. I assume full ownership and control over returned rabbits. Returned rabbits are never placed back in my main facility without a lengthy quarantine and may be offered for re-homing. I do generally have good success finding new homes for rabbits.
- I have the right to refuse or cancel a sale at anytime. Reimbursement of deposit will be given.
- All show and breeding stock will come with a 3 generation pedigree with weights unless noted otherwise after full payment is received. Companion animals will not be provided a pedigree.
- Any person under the age of 18 must have parental consent before purchasing a rabbit.
