We have dramatically reduced our Jersey Wooly herd to focus on the Angoras. I am leaving pictures up as a reference for anyone researching pedigrees online. We are keeping a small breeding group of Orange Jersey Woolies to continue our support of the the Orange COD.
Jersey Wooly Rabbits are the dwarf angora breed. They weigh around 3 pounds and have free flowing coats - mine are easy to care for with a virtually non-matting coat. Super cute and tiny, they still produce a respectable amount of fiber and are a great introductory angora rabbit for both fiber and show, being especially easy for children to handle. We are making good progress towards our goal of building a nationally competitive show-team of Jersey Woolies.
